The air conditioner in my place broke and I don't have money for a new one. Sometimes Sharon lets me come into cool off, but she's out now so I've spent most of the day inside in the dark. Trying to cool off with beer.
In 15 years they say that the Strathcona will be like Kitsilano today I can't see that. To the east and south of me there is industry: shipping/receiving, warehousing, trainyards. To the north there is the ports. Industry means crime, and noise and pollution.
There is too much public housing, too many poor people. It will take too long to clean up and move the undesireables out.

I can hear someone's stereo in the commons. It sounds like they're playing...Eminem, D12? There's people sitting on the grass next to the parking lot playing cards.
Everybody seems happy to day. People hanging out, wasting away the day. Its one of those lazy summer days.
I think I'll maybe go for a walk.
